Kids furniture store open on Post Road

Kids Space Place, a new kids' bedroom furniture store, recently opened in a 2,000-square-foot space at 1861 Post Road.

The store, which is owned by Tom Pitera, former owner of Gatherings Furniture in Stamford, carries four furniture brands -- Berg Furniture, Bolton Furniture, Oak Designs and Knotting Hill. The inventory includes beds, bunk beds, dressers and desks. Beds range from $399 to $1,199, while desks cost from $379 to $1,239.

The shop also has Dalyn rugs, bedding by Fireside Comforts, lamps, artwork and other accessories.

Kids Space Place is open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday; noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.
