Nashville's soul rocker, Sharif Iman, and his band will celebrate the Northeast CD Release Party for his debut album, "Shine," next Friday at the Fairfield Theatre Company's StageOne.

The concert will also support the Norma Pfriem Breast Care Center and its new women's wellness services at the expanded facility on Beach Road in Fairfield.

"We are so fortunate that Sharif has decided to donate a percentage of the net proceeds to the Breast Care Center," said Donna Twist, executive director of the center. "Iman is a deeply spiritual person who is intent on giving back to the community. We're deeply grateful for his support of our women's health and wellness programs."

Iman's "Shine" is his musical journey echoing with hope, embracement and freedom.

"I want to write songs of hope, but also give fans of pop and rock works of substance, like a buffet for their spirit," Iman said.

Ticket options ($16-$45) include a pre-event southern soul food buffet with Iman at the Fairfield Arts Council next door, and a post-performance celebration.
