Sesame Street's Cookie Monster would have had a field day at the annual Christmas Cookie Walk Festival last weekend at St. Emery's Church.

Tray after tray of cookies of all varieties were displayed -- before they were snapped up by sweet-toothed fans -- on tables in a community room at the Kings Highway church on Saturday and Sunday.

For those who missed out on their favorite cookies, St. Emery's Family Recipe booklet was available, with parishioner recipes for many of the treats.

Other tempting fare for sale included Hungarian food specialties, like stuffed cabbage.

Holiday appetites -- if not diets -- were well satisfied.
