Audrey M. Gormley of Fairfield, 81, the wife of Edward P. Gormley for more than 52 years, died June 30, 2010.

Born in Queens, N.Y., to the late John and Mary Keller, she graduated high school with full honors. Prior to her retirement, she was an executive secretary to the chairman of the board of Aceto Chemical Co. She was a member since 1990 of Assumption Church and the Assumption Senior Group.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, James and his wife, Juana of Riverdale, N.Y.; two grandchildren, Julian and Natalia; her nieces and nephews, Mary, June, Tom and Joan Holzwarth, and John, Kevin and Pattie Keller.

She was predeceased by her sister, June Irene Holzwarth; and her brother, John J. Keller.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated July 3 at Our Lady of Assumption Church; interment followed in Assumption Cemetery, Greens Farms. The family greered friend July 2 at the Shaughnessey Banks Funeral Home, 50 Reef Road, Fairfield.
