Congregation Ahavath Achim has planned high-holiday services for beginners, in both English and Hebrew, at the 1571 Stratfield Road synogoue.

Rosh Hashana services, including traditional prayers and blowing of the shofar, are scheduled on Sunday, Sept. 16, at 6:45 p.m. and on Monday, Sept. 17, at 10 a.m.

Yom Kippur services are planned on Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 6:30 p.m. and on Wednesday, Sept. 26, 10 a.m.

Services are free and open to the public, but the synagogue requests reservations be made.
