FAIRFIELD — A 26-year-old Shelton woman was charged with second-degree breach of peace after she allegedly punched her ex-boyfriend in the face early Aug. 26.
Police said Dayana Coba, of Kyles Way, was at 55 Degrees, on Miller Street, with her mother and father. Her ex-boyfriend, a 29-year-old Naugatuck man, entered the restaurant, according to the report, and Coba told a bouncer that she was in the process of getting a restraining order against him. The bouncer asked the man to leave, and he did.
He said he went to Crave, 52 Sanford St., and that Coba and her parents later went there as well. Coba’s father and mother apparently confronted the man; then Coba herself hit him in the face with a closed fist, and the Coba family was asked to leave Crave. Police said the confrontation was seen on security video.
Coba told police she believed that her ex-boyfriend had followed them to Crave. According to the report, Coba told police she may have hit the victim in the face after losing her temper.
Coba was released on a promise to appear in state Superior Court in Bridgeport Aug. 28.
