Art/Place will present "Generation: Filtered States," an exhibit of monotypes featuring member artists Mary Louise Long and Diane Pollack, from Thursday, May 9, through Sunday, June 9, in its gallery, 70 Sanford St.

A public reception will take place from 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, May 19, and artist talks will be given from noon to 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 28.

Pollack, of Fairfield, has exhibited widely throughout the region and in Tucson, Ariz. She is a co-chairman of Art/Place and a curator for Fairfield Public Library's Kershner Gallery.

Long, of Stamford, is a member of the Center for Contemporary Printmaking and the Loft Artist Association. She has exhibited at universities and at the Baltimore Museum of Art, Jersey City Museum, and other locations.
