Fairfield University will present "Elements of Peace," an exhibit of works by artist Marlene Siff, from Thursday, Sept. 20, through Sunday, Dec. 9, in the school's Thomas J. Walsh Art Gallery at the Quick Center for the Arts, 1073 N. Benson Road.

An opening reception will take place 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20.

The display will consist of 47 recent paintings, works on paper, sculpture, mobiles and maquettes of large multi-dimensional constructions. The works will range from vivid explosions of color by which Siff is recognized to newer subtle white meditative paintings, according to a news release.

Free exhibition programs include an "Author Meet & Greet" with Siff, at 1 p.m. Oct. 12, at Fairfield University Bookstore, 1499 Post Road. In addition, a free "Gallery Talk" with Siff will take place at 7 p.m. Nov. 7, in the gallery.
