Babysitter's beau accused of swiping $3.2K in jewelry

Zeequan D. Groves, 20, of Wayne Street, Bridgeport, was charged Wednesday with third-degree larceny.
Groves was charged with stealing $3,200 worth of jewelry from a Black Rock Turnpike residence on Aug. 25. According to the police report, he came to the residence where his girlfriend was working as the babysitter for children of the homeowners.
He was held on $25,000 bond and arraigned the same day at Bridgeport Superior Court.
