Pianist Alex Beyer and two fellow young musicians will perform three classical concerts at the Pequot Library this summer starting June 25.

The Summer Soiree Series start at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. Tickets to all three concerts are available for $60.

The first concert features Fairfielder Beyer on piano and Eliza Fath on cello performing “Cello Sonatas of Beethoven and Debussy.”

Beyer will perform the solo works of Bach, Chopin, Prokofiev and Ravel on July 9 before closing the series Aug. 20, when he will be joined by pianist Alan Murchie performing piano works of Mendelssohn and Rachmaninoff.

An award-winning pianist, Beyer has appeared nationally and internationally and been a guest soloist with various orchestras.

Proceeds from the concert series help to support the library’s programming.
