For those who might have found the scorching hot weekend just too overwhelming to venture out to the 51st annual Pequot Library Summer Book Sale -- one of the largest in the Northeast -- there's good news.

The sale at the landmark library continues today (Monday, July 25) and tomorrow at the landmark library in the heart of Southport at 720 Pequot Ave.

As always, there is no admission fee and the remaining two days are a bargain-hunter's paradise.

Today, hours are 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and all items half-price.

Tomorrow, hours are 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and any bag of books costs $5.

Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express are accepted.
