Police are investigating a burglary reported at a Catamount Road home sometime between 9:40 and 11:47 a.m. Friday.

The homeowner said she returned home to find the front door wide open. Entry was apparently gained through a basement window that was forced open.

According to police, the homeowner said that on April 4, she saw an older Honda Civic in her driveway, with a man in the car. He asked to see a "Kimberly," according to the report. He was told he had the wrong address, and a second man emerged from the back of her house, near the location of the basement window. They were described as in their 20s or 30s, and one was taller than the other.

Assorted electronics were reported taken Friday, including a flat-screen television, cameras and jewelry.

The basement window had been forced and propped open with a small wooden stick.

The homeowner did not report the April 4 incident to police when it happened.
