The inaugural concert by the Chamber Orchestra of Fairfield will take place Saturday at First Church Congregational.

The concert is set for 5 p.m. in the historic church, corner of Beach and Old Post roads.

Proceeds from the concert, organized by Fairfield native Darren Ziller, a 2009 graduate of Fairfield Warde High School, will benefit the Emma Jane von Euler Scholarship fund. The scholarship, established in her memory by her family, is presented to a graduating senior at Fairfield Ludlowe and Fairfield Warde high schools who plan to continue music studies in college.

Featured flute soloist for the concert will be Adrianne Greenbaum, who was von Euler’s private flute teacher, and has performed with the New Haven Symphony and other groups internationally.

Suggested donations of $10 per person will be collected at the door.
