Charges filed after domestic dispute

Brendan Travers, 20, of Hulls Highway, faces charges after police said he threw a chair against a wall and broke it during an argument with his father last Friday evening.

Travers also slapped a cellphone from his father's hands, police said. He was charged with disorderly conduct and released on a promise to have appeared Monday in Bridgeport Superior Court.
