Three young men allegedly involved in a New Year's Eve fight outside the Seagrape bar on Reef Road were arrested on warrants Saturday.
Cody McMahon, 19, of Melville Drive, and Christopher Robles, 24, of Miro Street, were both charged with third-degree assault and breach of peace. Thomas Barber, 22, of High Street, was charged with second-degree breach of peace.
According to police, Barber exchanged words with a victim as they were waiting in a line to get into the bar's New Year's Eve celebration and punched the victim in the eye. The victim, whose girlfriend had previously dated Barber, started to walk toward his car and Barber followed him. Then, he said, McMahon and Robles jumped him and began punching and kicking him.
The three accused were released on $2,500 bonds each and have a Feb. 25 date in Bridgeport Superior Court.
