A police car was vandalized by "keying" in two places, and also spat on, early Saturday morning as officers investigated a complaint about a loud party on Bailey Road.
Patrick Henehan, 21, of Cromwell, was charged with disorderly conduct around 12:15 a.m. for hosting a gathering that drew approximately 120 people. An anonymous caller told police the windows of the home were wide open and there was shouting among some revelers in the street.
Officers arriving at the scene found about 50 vehicles parked along the street, many of them impeding access by emergency vehicles. Officers said they were able to hear the party from 150 feet away, according to police records.
Henehan was released on a promise to appear and is scheduled to appear Feb. 7 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
