Charles A. (Pop) Glynn, 76, of Fairfield, the husband of the late Barbara Glynn, died Sept. 15, 2010, at Bridgeport Hospital.

Born in Stamford, the lifelong Fairfield resident worked for the Bassick Co. many years and recently retired as a custodian for the Fairfield school system. He was a longtime fan of the Boston Red Sox.

Survivors include seven children: William M. Glynn of Thornton, Col.; Deborah Castro of Bridgeport; Lori Pcolka and Kimberly Colpitts of Naugatuck; Barbara Cervone of Manchester; Wendy Flem of Bedford, Texas, and Kelly Glynn of Naugatuck; two sisters, Beatrice Mastrone and Helen Glynn; three brothers, Jimmy, Robert and George Glynn; 16 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was predeceased by a son, Charles Glynn.
