The Fairfield County Children’s Choir chamber singers will be featured Dec. 12 at the next Music for Youth concert in St. Thomas Aquinas Church.

The free performance is set for 2 p.m. in the church, 1719 Post Road.

The Fairfield County Children’s Choir is a community-based choral program with 300 youngsters in grades four through 12 from around the county. The chamber singers are the group’s most advanced choristers in sixth through 12th grades.

The choir was founded in 1995, and led by Jon Noyes, the group has performed throughout the United States in such venues as Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center, as well as in Canada, England, Ireland, Austria, Hawaii and the Czech Republic.

Although there is no charge for the performance, adults attending without children are asked to make a donation to support the choir’s programs. Tickets or advance registration are not required.
