A multi-media program on Chinese culture is planned Sunday afternoon, Oct. 28, at the Fairfield Public Library.
The program begins at 2 p.m. in the Rotary Room of the main branch, 1080 Old Post Road.
The presentation taps 5,000 years of Chinese civilization, including art, philosophy and history, the library said in a news release.
The highlight will be a workshop in traditional Chinese dance. The audience will be able to participate in the dance using long ribbons, drums and fans, the library said.
The dance will be performed by Shen Yun Performing Arts, a New York City group.
