Class on Wordpress at Fairfield Library

Fairfield Public Library will host an overview of Wordpress with Merry Uk, webmaster for the library and the town, at noon Wednesday, Oct. 17, in the main library, 1080 Old Post Road.

The event, part of the library's social media class, "Mid-Day with Merry," will show attendees how to set up the free blog and explore its customizable designs, privacy features, photo and video upload and other features. Uk holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science and masters of science degrees in information technology and library and information science, according to a release.
