Following is a list of Fairfield institutions and programs cancelled by impact of Hurricane Sandy:

The town's public schools are closed through Wednesday.

Sullivan-Independence Hall and other municipal offices closed at 11 a.m. Monday.

Fairfield public libraries closed as of 1 p.m. Monday.

Street closings as of midday Monday: Harbor and Westway roads, Rowland and Fairfield Beach raods, stretch of Bronson Road at No. 517, Ye Yacht Yard in Southport, wire in roadway at 44 Sunset Avenue.

Evacuations: Areas south of the Old Post/Oldfield roads as well as Westway Road in Southort.
