Mr. and Mrs. William H. Cochrane Jr., of Fairfield, announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Ballantine Cochrane, to Jonathan Nelson Scott, son of Janice and Timothy Scott, of Harpenden, United Kingdom.
The future bride graduated from Tufts University in Medford, Mass., with a bachelor of arts degree in child development and is pursuing a graduate degree in early childhood education while employed at Greenwich Academy.
The future bridegroom studied microbiology at the University of Surrey and is employed as a children's pastor at New Life Church, Milton Keynes, U.K.
A mid-May wedding is planned. The couple will reside in Greenwich.
