Angel Commercial has announced that it has been recognized as a top-producing brokerage firm for 2012 in the Westchester County, N.Y., and the southern Connecticut marketplace.
CoStar Group, a provider of commercial real estate market information and marketing services, recently gave its 2012 CoStar Power Broker Award for Top Industrial Leasing to Jon Angel, the commercial real estate firm's president. The Fairfield company has received the accolade for eight consecutive years, according to a new release.
Angel qualified as one of the top commercial brokers in the industrial market for completing 24 lease deals totaling 150,871 square feet of property, and two land-lease deals totaling 2.73 acres of land. He also completed seven property sales totaling $10,425,000.
Two significant transactions closed by Angel in 2012 included a 103,000-square-foot deal to Two Roads Brewery in Stratford and a 38,560-square-foot transaction to Lamor Corp.'s new U.S. headquarters in Milford.
To receive the award, Angel was evaluated against other commercial real estate brokers active in the region by CoStar Group, and subsequently ranked among the top brokers in the market.
