Contestants sought for CT Challenge benefit

Contestants are sought for CA Titus Productions' "So You Think You've Got Talent 2013" contest to benefit Connecticut Challenge and the Connecticut Challenge Center for Survivorship on Saturday, April 20. It will take place at 8 p.m. at Norwalk Concert Hall, 125 East Ave., Norwalk.
Contestants must complete an online entry form at www.gottalent2013.com to audition for the contest between 5:30 and 10 p.m. Wednesday, March 20, or Thursday, March 21, at Norwalk City Hall, 125 East Ave.
A $5,000 grand prize will be awarded to the winner, to be chosen by audience members voting via an electronic voting system, according to a news release.
The show's guest host, Tad Lemire from Star 99.9 FM, will present the prize.
Javier Colon, winner of "The Voice" season one, will be the celebrity judge and will also perform in the show. Last year's winner, Tangela Smith, will sing to open the show, the release states.
The Connecticut Challenge is a nonprofit that funds survivorship programs at hospitals throughout Connecticut and at its center for Survivorship in Fairfield to help cancer survivors live healthier, happier lives.
