For the third time in a month, copper gutters have been reported stolen from a Fairfield church.

The latest incident was reported Tuesday at Assumption Church, 545 Stratfield Road. Two six-foot sections of gutter -- one from the south side of the building; the other from the north side -- were taken. They were valued at $200. Another gutter was damaged but not stolen, according to police.

Calvin United Church, 901 Kings Highway East, had gutters stolen by thieves twice this month, the latest theft occurring this past Sunday.
