A Tide Mill Terrace woman was the victim of a phone scam last week, police said.
The 71-year-old told police last Tuesday that she received a call from a man claiming to be with the federal Drug Enforcement Agency, and he reportedly told her he had a warrant for her arrest if she did not provide him with $1,000.
According to the report the woman went to a local pharmacy and purchased a $500 Paypal card, and called the man back and provided him with the PIN number.
The incident is under investigation.
