A 55-year-old Redding motorist was charged with driving under the influence and failure to obey a traffic control signal after he drove through a red traffic light at the corner of Post Road and Grasmere Avenue on Saturday.
Ronnie Navarro was driving west on the Post Road when he went through the red light, police said. He failed field sobriety tests, police said.
He was released after posting $100 bond and is scheduled to appear March 3 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
