An Arbor Road resident was charged on a warrant Monday for allegedly letting the air out of the tires of his estranged wife's car.

Brian Feeney, 48, was charged with disorderly conduct and third-degree criminal mischief, police said.

Feeney admitted to police that he removed the valve stems on the vehicle's rear tires to cause them to go flat, police said.

Police learned about the incident when his wife called police April 12 because she said that Feeney had grabbed her car keys and left the scene, stranding her in a Mill Plain Road parking lot. At that time, Feeney was charged with disorderly conduct, and the wife also told police about the tire incident that had occurred the previous day.

He was held on a $1,000 bond and was scheduled to appear May 1 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
