An argument that started at a friend's house and continued when a Davis Road couple returned home early Sunday led to the arrest of Sean Massey, 41, according to police.

Massey was charged with disorderly conduct and interfering with an emergency call about 12:30 a.m. Sunday after police said he pushed his wife into the wall, where she hit her head. Prior to pushing her, police said Massey's wife tried to use a cell phone to call 911 and Massey grabbed the phone and threw it against the wall. The phone bounced off the wall and hit one of the couple's two children, according to the report.

Massey was released on a promise to have appeared Monday appear in Bridgeport Superior Court.

A temporary protective order was issued against him.
