Thomas Riggs, 57, of New York, N.Y., was charged with disorderly conduct after he allegedly argued with his girlfriend about e-mails Saturday.
Riggs was apparently upset about e-mails he found on the woman's laptop, police said. A physical struggle for the laptop reportedly ensued, with Riggs allegedly leaving the Mill Hill Terrace house with the laptop.
The laptop was subsequently returned after Riggs came to police headquarters. He was released on $100 bond, and was scheduled to appear Monday in Bridgeport Superior Court.
