A 30-year-old Fairfield man, accused by police of chasing his brother around their apartment with a boxcutter in a dispute over money, was arrested Friday on charges of second-degree threatening and disorderly conduct.
John Rodas, of Commerce Drive, was held in lieu of $5,000 bond and was scheduled to appear Monday at Superior Court in Bridgeport.
Police said Rodas had been borrowing money from his brother and that the dispute on Friday was about money. Rodas’ brother, who had picked up a bicycle to defend himself, called police to report the incident about 11:02 a.m., police said.
