Thomas Schine, 27, of Bronson Road, faces charges after police said he threw a bowling ball through the windshield of an ex-girlfriend's car Friday morning.

The former girlfriend told police that she returned home Thursday and found a rock had been thrown through her bedroom window. When she woke up Friday morning, she found her car windshield smashed and a bowling ball in the driveway, police said. She told police she broke up with Schine recently and he left 13 "threatening" messages on her voice mail, according to the report.

Schine came to police headquarters around 8:30 a.m. Friday and was charged with two counts of second-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct and second-degree harassment and was taken to Bridgeport Superior Court for arraignment later that day.
