Two teens were arrested Thursday night for stealing bicycles.

A Highlawn Road resident reported to police that two teenagers had stolen her son's bicycle from their open garage. The two were located on Jeniford Road a short time later, both riding stolen bikes, police said.

The 13- and the 14-year-olds, both from Hancock Avenue in Bridgeport, were charged with third-degree burglary, conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny and sixth-degree larceny.

According to the report, one acted as a lookout while the other stole a bike.

They were released to the custody of relatives and are scheduled to appear in juvenile court April 29.
