Cops: Teen shoplifting 'team' foiled at Kohl's

Two 17-year-old girls from Fairfield are face charges after they tried to steal merchandise from Kohl's department store, 290 Tunxis Hill Road, Monday afternoon, police said.
One of the teens acted as a lookout, police said, and was charged with conspiracy to commit sixth-degree larceny, while the other one took shoes, a cell phone case and shirts. She was charged with sixth-degree larceny.
Both were released to their parents and are scheduled to appear Dec. 21 in juvenile court.
