Cops: Woman charged after assaulting stepfather

Alexandra Rosenstein, 37, was charged with assault Saturday afternoon after what police said was a domestic dispute.

Police were called to the home on Applegate after Rosenstein got into an argument with her stepfather. According to the report, she threw a cup of coffee at him and then bit his ear. Police said there were visible marks on the stepfather's ear and arm, but he refused medical treatment.

Rosenstein was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct. She was released on a $250 bond and was scheduled to have appeared Monday in Bridgeport Superior Court.
