An Old Dam Road woman who called police Sunday to ask for assistance in ejecting her husband from the house ended up facing criminal charges herself.

Linda Patscot, 59, was charged with third-degree assault and disorderly conduct after the incident.

Patscot called emergency dispatchers around 10 p.m. Sunday and asked how she could get her husband out of the house, according to the report. She told dispatchers that he had thrown her across a room.

When offices arrived, however, they learned that Patscot had kicked her husband in the leg while wearing high heels, scratching his leg, police said. He locked himself in the bedroom, police said, and Patscot kicked several small holes in the door with her shoes.

She was held on a $500 bond and was scheduled to have appeared Monday in Bridgeport Superior Court.
