Cracker, an alternative pop rock band hailing from Virginia will be performing Tuesday at the Fairfield Theatre Company's StageOne.

Singer/guitarist David Lowery and guitarist Johnny Hickman are joined by bassist Davey Faragher for the band's Fairfield performance. The band is known for combining elements of alternative pop/rock and country into several irreverent tunes including " Low," "Teen Angst," "Get Off This," and "Eurotrash Girl."

In the 1980s, Lowery's southern California band Camper Van Beethoven fused folk and punk influences with bar room blues in the band's albums, "Cracker" and "Kerosene Hat."

The show "Cracker; Unplugged" will begin at 7:30 p.m. at Stage One, 70 Sanford St.

Tickets are: $38, with a member discount of $3 and can be purchased online at www.fairfieldtheatre.org or by calling the box office at 203-259-1036.
