Police were called to the Fairfield University campus last Friday afternoon after a deer crashed through a window and into a conference room.
The buck, who apparently hit the window with such force it ripped off its antlers, was inside the conference room, bleeding and disoriented, according to the report.
Police and animal-control officers were able to guide the buck outside. It started to run into nearby woods, but then stopped and stuck its head in some bushes. After 15 minutes, the buck remained at the site, still disoriented and its head leaning to one side. The animal was euthanized by officers.
