It was drizzly and cold Saturday morning, but warm and inviting at Fairfield Grace United Methodist Church as it hosted its annual Bunny Breakfast.

Families scrambled to the church for eggs and pancakes, Easter-themed children's crafts and a visit from a certain furry creature.

"We've been doing this for the past 15 years," said Nancy Hauser, the event coordinator. "This year is a fundraiser for Heifer International, an organization that helps farmers purchase animals. Because today is our Bunny Breakfast, we thought we would tie in animals. Our turnout is usually good -- about 60 children and their families."

With Easter sing-along tunes playing, kids assembled Easter scenes, teens wearing bunny ears waited tables and families posed for pictures with the animal of the hour, Easter Bunny.

It was a "hoppy" occasion for all.
