A Monroe woman was given a warning for failure to drive right after she hit a telephone pole and drove over a stone wall on Toilsome Hill Road Monday morning.

Carolyn Golda-Brusca, 29, of Historic Drive, told police she was headed west on Toilsome Hill when she swerved to avoid a rabbit, and hit the curb, a telephone pole, drove over the stone wall and through a flower bed.

She refused medical attention.
