Patrick O'Donnell, 39, of Princeton Street, Bridgeport, was charged with driving under the influence after an incident Friday night at the Post Road and Shoreham Drive intersection.
Another driver called police to report that O'Donnell cut in front of her as she was driving on the Post Road and then came to a complete stop in front of her. He got out of the car, according to the report, walked up to her driver-side window and asked her what she was doing.
O'Donnell told police he was on his way home and admitted that he had been drinking vodka.
He failed field sobriety tests and later refused to take a breath test or sign the required forms. He was released on a $100 bond and is scheduled to appear Feb. 26 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
