A 20-year-old Trumbull motorist who struck a railroad underpass on North Benson Road early Monday was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and failure to drive right.
Brian Stoller, of Dunellen Road, also was issued an infraction for possession of less than a half-ounce of marijuana, police said.
Police said Stoller struck the support wall on the underpass by North Benson Road and Eliot Street about 2:13 a.m. Monday and that the car he was driving sustained heavy front-end damage.
He failed field sobriety tests at the scene, police said.
Stoller was released after posting $100 bond and was scheduled to appear May 13 in Bridgeport Superior Court, police said.
