Thomas Morgan Gill, 19, of Newark, Del., was charged around 7:40 p.m. Saturday with three counts of possession of a controlled substance, three counts of failure to store drugs in original container and three counts of possession of a controlled substance within 1,500 feet of a school.
Police were called to the Fairfield University campus after security officers pulled over Gill's vehicle, where they said they found alcohol and the odor of burnt marijuana was present. A joint found in the vehicle subsequently tested positive as containing marijuana, police said and 23 pills similar to Aderall were found in an unmarked container, police said. Two additional pills were found beneath a floor mat. Gill was also charged with two infractions -- possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of less than a half ounce of marijuana.
Bond was set at $2,500 and he is scheduled to appear Oct. 31 in Bridgeport Superior Court.
