A distinctive array of arts and crafts shimmered under Saturday’s sunny skies as the Fairfield Kiwanis hosted its 24th annual Arts and Crafts Fall Fair on Town Hall Green.

The juried event continues Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on the historic green.

About two dozen vendor tents and tables were spread across the green, offering hand-crafted wares ranging from birdhouses and garden décor to jewelry, interior decor and apparel.

Kiwanis members also manned grills serving hot dogs and hamburgers, the Kempo Academy of Martial Arts hosted a bounce house for kids, and members of the Lions Club of Newtown traveled to Fairfield to sell raffle tickets for a chance to win a classic 1966 Ford Mustang convertible.

Students from both Fairfield Ludlowe and Fairfield high schools were on hand to sell mums and help youngsters with crafts.
