Learn everything you always wanted to know about probate but were afraid to ask at the League of Women Voters' brown bag lunch at 12:15 p.m. May 3 in the Fairfield Public Library, 1080 Old Post Road.

Probate Judge Daniel Caruso will discuss "The Role of the Probate Court in Fairfield," including topics such as wills, overseeing a decedent's estate or trust, the role of the executor, the distribution of an estate's assets when there is no will and prevention of malfeasance. The probate court also oversees adoption and other issues affecting children, the elderly and those with mental retardation or psychiatric disabilities.

Caruso will answer questions from the audience. The public is invited and there is no charge to attend. Bring a light lunch; beverages will be available.
