Fairfield Public Library will hold two free talks concerning personal finance next week at the main library, 1080 Old Post road, as part of its Reinvent Your Financial Future @ the Fairfield Public Library series.
At noon on Wednesday, Sept. 19, Maria Grice, public affairs specialist from the Social Security Administration, will discuss Social Security issues, including retirement, Medicare, spouse's benefits and online resources and services. Her talk will take place in the Rotary Room.
The following day, Sheryle McMillan, regional director of Money Management International, will discuss how to live with less money and protect one's financial well-being after becoming single through divorce or death of a spouse. She will speak at 7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20, in the Memorial Room.
From September through December, the library will offer 25 free programs focused on personal finance.
