Fairfield Library to host talk on cancer causes

The Fairfield Public Library Health Matters Series will host Dr. Robert Zembroski, founder of Cancer Victor -- Beyond Survival, on Wednesday, Dec. 5. It will be held at 7 p.m. at the Fairfield Woods Branch Library, 1147 Fairfield Woods Road.

Dr. Zembroski, a chiropractic neurologist, will discuss major causes for the development of cancer including environmental carcinogens, poor nutrition and lifestyle, according to a release. He will also share the five lifestyle changes one can make today to rebuild after cancer care and to prevent recurrence.

Dr. Zembroski is the director of the Darien Center for Integrative Medicine in Darien, where patients receive holistic health care, including functional medicine, pain relief, nutrition and stress management, the release states.

He is a graduate of the University of Connecticut and the New York Chiropractic College and certified by the American Chiropractic Neurology Board.
