Fairfield Public Library will hold two talks on personal finance in the coming week as part of its ongoing Reinvent Your Financial Future @ the Fairfield Public Library Series.

On Tuesday, Oct, 30, Marion Cicolello and Jill Foster of the Women's Business Development Council will present "Where Does Your Money Go: Creating a Personal Budget." They will discuss how to set personal goals, prioritize spending and develop realistic spending plans in creating a personal budget and understanding of how money is spent, according to a release.

On Thursday, Nov. 1, Connecticut Department of Banking representative Michael Buchas will discuss "Mortgage/Housing Options." He will talk about how reverse mortgages work, preventing foreclosures, examine mortgage choices and choosing between buying or renting.

Both programs will be held at 7 p.m. in the library's Memorial Room, 1080 Old Post Road.

The library will offer free programs focused on personal finance through December, the release states.
