The Fairfield Museum and History Center is continuing its promotion of allowing ticket stubs from the new movie "Lincoln" to be used for reduced admission to its exhibit "Promise of Freedom: The Emancipation Proclamation" through the engagement of the film, which opened in November.
The exhibit includes rare signed copies of the Emancipation Proclamation and the Thirteenth Amendment, signed by Lincoln and almost all members of the House and Senate who voted for it, according to a news release.
Both documents are on loan to the museum from a private collection.
Visitors who present a ticket stub will receive $2 off of an adult admission to the exhibition, which runs through Sunday, Feb. 24.
