Fairfield Public Library to hold business networking event

Fairfield Public Library will hold a business networking event 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, in the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road.
The doors will open at 6:30 p.m.
Current and prospective business owners are invited to an evening of networking and brief presentations by area business agencies and support organizations to learn about services available to assist their businesses and network with those representatives and other business owners.
Presenters at the event will include Mark Barnhart, Fairfield's director of community and economic development, Dorothy Bratchell, co-founder and chief executive officer of the Women's Business Development Council, and William C. McLeod, assistant director of Score, a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating entrepreneurs by providing free counseling services.
Bernie Pasierb, advisor for the Small Business Development Council and an adjunct professor at Housatonic Community College, and Fred Reinhardt, president of the Bank of Fairfield, will also give presentations.
Refreshments will be provided by The Bank of Fairfield.
The event is part of the library's Small Business Strategies series.
